The standard tuning for the Kalimba B9 is identical to that of the Sansula, featuring an A-minor scale with additional B and F notes. With all the notes perfectly harmonized, beginners can effortlessly play beautiful melodies. For added amplification, place the kalimba on a flat surface like a table or drum and use a 6.3 mm cable and right-angle connector (not included). The B9, with nine tines, is the counterpart to the B7 (seven tines) Kalimba. Both have the same sized block of American cherrywood, but the B9's slimmer tines produce a more rich and overtone-heavy sound compared to the B7's vibration. The resonant body is crafted from solid American cherrywood. Measurements: 4.8 x 3.6 x 1.4 inches.
