Collection: Space Bars

Space Bars are part of the 7 Cosmic Collection of Martin Bläse, a collection based on the planetary tuning.

They are call Space Bars because of their construction. The bars are suspended in air by four fixed points, where a clear rubber band holds the tuned bar in empty space, thus it is called the "Space Bar."

The four points are attached to two knotless pieces of wood. Knotless is important as they will never split or crack. On the top of piece of wood, directly under the suspended bar is a small resonator. This allows for a great sustain on a small piece.

The Space Bar is a wonderful addition to your home to bring a moment of clarity to your day. As the sound is quite delicate, we admire the personal use of this.

Used in conjunction with planetary attributes, they can be played with great intention.

These pieces are cold forged from Bronze. The metal itself is an alloy made from copper and tin.  Copper represents Jupiter, the God of Thunder (fitting for the use of sound) while Tin represents Venus, the God of Beauty. Bronze is the daughter of these two metals...fusing together the attribute affixed. Bronze is affixed to the beauty of sound.
