The Stardust gong is another marvel from the Tone of Life Family of Gongs. The Stardust gongs asks us to look into that which is unseen, deep within the fragments of creation itself, to the very dust that creates both you and I.
The construction of this gong is quite unique. Though it is the Tam-Tam German style, it bears a slight raised nipple within the center. Nipple gongs tend to harbor a strong and commanding fundamental tone, which this does beautifully. For this size it is the deepest and most resonant in the capsule. The deep fundamental is easy to maintain while the rhythm play along the edge and body of the gong allow a tonal range which encapsulates the listener.
This gong asks the player and listener to see beyond what is presented, but in and of itself, to look inside yourself for the answer that seem outside.
