The Koshi chime is a genuine musical instrument—a distinguished, handcrafted original from a French mountainside workshop. Eight chords are skillfully silver-welded together on a metal plate at the base of the resonator tube, creating bright tones rich with overtones. The shorter chords generate a round, warm tone range. When gently handled by its cord, the crystal-clear, calming sound inspires peaceful admiration. Hung up, it sings with the breeze, sweeping you into its charming, unexpected melody.
