Please note the sound of the recording may differ from the sound when received as well as the evolution of the drum. The moisture level in the hide can shift. When this happens, you simply need to dry the hide. We do this by placing it 8-10 inches above a gas range for 15-20 second at a time. Then we let it cool down to get it to the tension we desire.
