Anantar translates as “Infinite Strings” and relates the fact of a large number of strings. The front side has four strings of the Indian Tambura as well as 8 strings tuned to a pentatonic raga scale inspired by the Japanese Koto. This tuning can be altered to find the exact scale you would like. A wonderful instrument that is easy to use, play, and create melodies with.
The video below is the double sided monochord, which we also stock, but the only difference is this version is single sided without the monochord.
